Cotoneaster Divaricatus- A medium sized ornamental shrub, with a horizontal spreading habit. This useful shrub has small dark green glossy leaves which turn a pleasant mixture of reds, yellows and oranges in the autumn. During spring time, the Cotoneaster Divaricatus displays small, compact flowers, their pale pink-white colour contrasts starkly against the dark green leaves. A very useful shrub which will bring character and colour to any garden or park. Makes a fantastic uncut hedge, its spreading and branching habit forming an impenetrable barrier.
Fruit: Ovate shaped fruit is a bright red, good for attracting birds.
Soil Types/Habitat: A very adaptable plant which can grow in a range of settings and conditions. Pollution tolerant, growing well in urban sites.
