Our Nursery
A Family-Owned Nursery Committed to Quality and Tradition
Founded in 1985, Trees Please cultivates saplings across 140 hectares of land in Northumberland, producing over 18 million trees and hedging plants annually. The site has a rich history in tree production, having been a former Forestry Commission nursery responsible for many of the trees in Kielder Forest. We offer a diverse range of native broadleaf species, alongside improved varieties of Sitka spruce, Norway spruce, Douglas fir, and Scots pine.
As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on personalized service, efficient communication, and uncompromising quality standards.
Our Quality UK Grown Trees
All trees are grown onsite to exacting standards. With well over 200 collective years between them, our production team know a thing a two about tree growing!
Seed-Grown for Strength and Sustainability
Growing trees from seed requires both patience and expertise. At Trees Please, our production team, with over 200 years of collective experience, is dedicated to cultivating high-quality trees from top-tier genetic material. By making significant investments in seed testing, collection, and processing, we are able to offer a wider selection of native broadleaves, along with specialized seed orchard material.
This ensures stock with improved characteristics, such as enhanced density, faster growth rates, and superior straightness, providing the best possible outcomes for your planting projects.
Planting for a Better Future
At Trees Please, we work closely with leading research and forest management companies, not just as a supplier but as stewards of the landscape, forest ecosystems, and biodiversity.
We conduct ongoing trials to enhance growing methods while upholding the high standards of quality our customers rely on. In our commitment to environmental health, we maintain rigorous biosecurity practices to minimize the spread of pests and diseases throughout the supply chain.
This dedication is reinforced through our adherence to the Plant Healthy accreditation scheme, ensuring responsible and sustainable operations.

TreesPlease are proud to be a founding member of the Plant Healthy accreditation scheme.
